Though gasification of biomass in fluidized bed system is an efficient way of biomass utilization, limited experimental data on the fluidized bed biomass gasification are available in open literature. From the kinetic point of view, the process of biomass gasification can be divided into two consecutive sub-processes or steps: 1) devolatilization, and 2) char gasification.

A co-gasification process was proposed both for treating alkaline organic wastewater and to promote coal gasification by the alkaline substances in situ.
